what i normally eat

been in Taiwan for a few months already and i'm going to show you what i normally eat! more like what i normally cook, although i don't cook for every meals. sometimes i still eat outside food because ; 1. no ingredients and 2. lazy, staying in a hostel with two roommates and one toilet is really inconvenient for me to cook because space isn't enough to put everything and the toilet isn't spacious enough either. cooking myself somehow looks healthier than outside food because i can have control over how much oil and condiments i have to put. but sometimes for convenient, i still use instant soup  powders and etc because i don't really have much ingredients due to lack of refrigerator.

i call this self-made sang nyiuk mian! hahaha. this can only be cooked on the day i buy grocery because i have no fridge so the meat i bought cannot be kept for long. normally i use pork bone to make the soup to be more flavorful rather than just using salt and pepper.

this amazing grilled cheese sandwich with scramble egg. sometimes with cherry tomato and fruits if i'm really hungry. it's so easy to make and it's so satisfying! i generally prefer sunny side up more than scrambled egg but i had nom choice because the pot i'm using couldn't make sunny side up :(

left: ramen mixed with 維立炸醬, its so good! served with instant spinach & egg soup.
right: instant sour & spicy soup eith ramen.

maggi & more instant noodles! regularly.

lfet: kimchi soup with pork and tofu. with rice.
right: oops i apologize for the unappetizing lapcheong rice covered with sweet soy sauce.

left: pan fried chicken breast (omg yes the best ever)
right: mashed potatoes!!!

top left: japanese curry with chicken and potatoes
top right: cabbage, tomato & egg stew! inspired by sherry. her all time favorite too! *wink*
bottom: canned chili sardine with onions, and cabbage with egg.

went to Taichung the other day to visit liau and made this amazing breakfast with liau's help. kimchi grilled cheese sandwich, sausage, bacon, mashed potato and sunny side egg. served with milk topped with milo powder! in case you're curious about the kimchi sandwich, click here! it's just a guide for me tho, i didn't follow 100% of her recipe because she put too much cheese.

off topic picture: i bubble dyed my hair yesterday! not super happy with the result but it looks good under the sunlight (only) tho! guess what color!
