if you do not want to hear about any complains or rants, please ignore this post. nobody ask you to read it all and then hate everything i say. because basically, all i wanted to do now is to complain about my roommate. or should i say, ex-roommate.
i don't know if this is normal but just in my point of view, i do not like it. ok so at first when i reached Taiwan, i was really happy to know that my roommates are both Malaysians! it just feels like you're at a totally unfamiliar country and yet you met someone from your hometown. so i'm quite satisfied with my 'luck' of being able to get good roommates. but then things didn't went well, at all. well, yes for the first few days, because everyone's wall is still up and have to show good impression before ruining it, right? but then few days after they started to show their real faces which i really do not appreciate.
i'm quite 'selfish' person tbh, like, who likes it when other's keeps on lending or using your stuff without even paying? ok if you say 'sharing is caring' then alright, i have nothing to say. but it's my personal things. i bought it myself, using my own & my parent's money. who wants their stuffs keep on being used by others? you have your own parents, you can buy them yourself. or if you think that having three same thing in one room is too much, then at least try to ask if you can pay some money to me and then we share the things. that's fair enough. but, no. wtf.
let them be A & B respectively at this moment. so i bought my own hair dryer, my rice cooker, my food, my rice, salt & pepper, soy sauce, oil and all condiments and stuffs. and then A saw my hair dryer and was like 'oh! you have a hair dryer! next time i can use and don't need go to my friend's room to blow hair anymore'. ok, read once more, read the sentence once more. can you identify if this is a normal sentence or a question sentence? she saw my hair dryer and just say oh next time she wants to use, without even ask me if she can use it. and so for the next few weeks, she uses my hair dryer. at first i didn't think it was a big deal, but i somehow feel annoyed. and also my mum didn't like how i keep lending stuffs to other because if it break down, am i the one who pay for repair, or them? what if they said like oh, it's your stuff you have to deal with it, it's not our property and bla bla. maybe i predicted them badly but having the worst plan is always better than putting too much hope.
so that's the first case, and then A & B started to aim for my rice cooker, and also my rice. i've bought a pack of rice, approximately 2 kgs. and i poured them in two full containers. i don't even know why are they so thick-faced wtf. keep on using my stuff like it's theirs? and although they'll do the cleaning and stuff but still it's my money and my rice. they use up like 1kg of rice in one week. and do they feel embarrassed? no. not at all.
later when i bought eggs and bread. they say 'oh we can make french toast! singzee have egg and oil anyway!' won't you feel annoyed if it was you? hello? i bought eggs to eat myself not to make your french toast! but they took it anyway. whatever shit i bought back dorm, they'll use it even before i use them.
ok maybe condiments is really a small case, but this B is really crazy. she wakes me up, almost every single night! just because she play her phone until late night and then afraid to sleep when she finally decides to sleep because me and A fall asleep. she wake me up, pat on me UNTIL I WAKE and i mean it. there's a few times that i know she's waking me up again, but i die die don't wanna open my eyes but she pat and call me continuously for like full 2 minutes, until i open my eyes and move to aside. can you still sleep well?! fucking ridiculous.
then one night i cannot take it anymore, i went down to the reception desk and ask if i can change room. then this super lc aunty didn't ask any reason and she say 'no'. the person beside her ask if i'm international student and i say yes. then she told the lc aunty 'she's international student, cannot?' then she still say 'no'. without even looking at me. fuck you aunty. i went into the lift and started crying HAHA cause i was so upset. i went to the last room in the end which was empty and cried wtf.
then the next day i asked the uncle and the uncle say yessssssssssss. and so i changed my room! and am now staying with two Japanese roommates! already been in this room 1 week plus and i really love them. super polite and good in manners unlike A&B. after i change room, they came to my room and lend my rice cooker and rice once wtf. damn dowan face but at least not on daily basis anymore. why would this type of people actually exists!
